They took our jobs
I have zero issues with bitstrips itself (I am actually impressed with its flexibility). The thing is, recently I learned of someone landing a neat contract to create various materials in the form of a comic strip… and guess how she did it. The clients were none the wiser and actually very pleased with her work.
Even in our humble trade, machines are taking over… XD

As a comic book creator myself, I have to say: that is scary!
Hi Jonas! Thanks for your comment,
I had a blast drawing the wolfhaha I guess was replying to something else. Yeah, well, at most it’s a bit annoying. When they upgrade to using different styles, that’s when things could get a bit hairier…Hi, I’m from the distant future of the year 2024! Enjoy this, it’s gonna get worse!
The Bitstrip link now goes to bitmoji.
Ugh, always hated the bitmoji comics, while they are always fast and cheap, the stuff you could do with them always felt sterile and constricting.
(Also, its a shame that it took a turn for the worse in the ’20s)
It would’ve probably been interesting to study bitmoji’s case uses and user profiles at the time. I’m sure there are close parallels to our current genAI situation.
