It was either that or something Doom-related
Little Big Adventure. This game was a big, BIG deal when it was launched, and it’s still remembered very fondly by a lot of people… but I wouldn’t be surprised if you’d have to do some research on it. It’s one of those childhood-defining games (and it was perfectly enjoyable to mature gamers), so why wouldn’t you want to also think of your marriage as an original, clever, magical adventure?
I’ll always remember the advice my dad gave me on my wedding day: “Just be careful you don’t run into walls”.

That is absolutely amazing! Though I discovered LBA yeeears too late, I absolutely loved it 😀
Some fan-patch later actually fixed the “stupidly losing health by running into walls” thing 😉
Oh man, I haven’t thought about this game in years! Played it a bunch on my uncle’s pc when I was a kid. Thanks for the throwback. Any idea how it holds up now? Might need to try and track it down.
Well that was easier than I thought.

Sorry I missed your comments. I never played it myself but it was given away for free at GOG.com recently, I think, and there are patches available to alleviate some of its more annoying quirks.
Weird, usually I am aware of a lot of the niche ’90s games out on the market, like Marathon, Elite (Seriously though I love the visuals of Elite II), Lemmings, and Planescape, but if you say it was really that popular back in the day, its odd it never came up on my radar…
I’m from Mexico, and like with most PC gaming it was never popular here, BUT we got a UK cable show called Cybernet, so a lot of our video games info came from the UK, and according to them LBA was huge at the time. Maybe it wasn’t actually representative, but that was my impression, along with their love for “footy sims”.
