I love videos when I want to watch videos. When I’m trying to get information, though, I prefer text over video every time… but, I know, I’m in the minority. Try to share text over social media, no matter how fantastic or insightful. See how well that works out…

You are not alone. I too prefer text over video. Text has more information than a video does.
