The saddest movies
And they don’t even need to be crappy! I’m still sore about Dredd, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Lone Ranger (yes, I actually liked it!) never getting sequels.
Can you guess which movie inspired this idea? Hint: it’s from 2010.
*lights a candle*
I want a Dredd sequel too.
As far as I know, out of the three it’s the one who could actually happen. Fingers crossed.
What was the ending of Buckaroo Banzai? Buckaroo Banzai will return to fight the Crime Syndicate or something like that. Say a prayer for those that will never have a chance….
I give up. What 2010 movie inspired this? (I looked up a list of 2010 action movies, hoping one would have a name close enough to “Codename: Rex” that I’d figure it out, but the closest I found was “Red,” which did have a sequel.)
Haha, it was “Salt”, with Angelina Jolie. I’ve watched dozens of movies like these, but the way it opened the way for sequels felt tacked on (Salt pretty much seemed to tie every loose end, and then it ends with “but there are others”). The actual in-comic movie is vaguely based on a John Stamos movie from the 80s called “Never too young to die”, which was intended to be a long running “Bond Jr.” franchise, but it was terrible.
