Ahh, I know this feeling. We have an old oven, and its electronics apparently have a problem with heat. After baking something that needs to be in there for a long time, the clock is all messed up, and just lights some random parts of the LCD numbers.
The only way to fix it is to unplug it for fifteen minutes, and then push and hold all four buttons on it really, REALLY hard and twist the timer knob to actually set the time. I think I’m the only one at home who can actually do it. When the power goes out or something I’m also always the one to set it back to the right time again :p
