The boredom destroyer
From Port Sherry Monthly – Issue 9 (October 2020). The back cover illustration featured the “boredom” character -before his fall.
There were a lot of influences in this comic but the line “if everything is exciting, then nothing is” is a paraphrase of something The Sandman (the wrestler) said in a shoot interview, about the younger generations wanting matches to be wall to wall highspots (crazy dangerous stunts). You can’t build drama that way, he argued.
I’m now posting my new comics to Patreon first as soon as I finish them. They will eventually appear here and on social media, but we have many updates to go before that happens, so if you want to read my work from 2021 right now, that’s the place to be!
Nope. Can’t agree. The thing about the new video game wearing off, is ok, but if you generally have too much time at your hands, you have too much time at your hands. What about the list of project? What about cleaning out the attic? What ab… oh I see. You prefer boredom. Well then …
