I found that one of those body pillows is pretty good for that; harder to lose it during the night than a smaller pillow. Having the stereotypical anime girl print on it is actually not required.
Here in Malaysia, we call that a bolster. I realised when I went to USA for college back in the mid-80s, they didn’t have them there. I guess they do now?

We always have, but they’re usually bulkier than a body pillow, and thought of as just something to put at the top of the bed, not as a body pillow.
