Of course nothing happens if you eat a little later -you just move up your breakfast a bit. But I do try to keep to the time limit and it makes it more exciting.

I’ve done intermittend fasting and in my experience it doesn’t help at all if you just “fast” from evening to morning. However, it makes a very noticable difference when you fast a full 36 hours, i.e. from one evening over the entire text day until morning of the next. With that, I lost a full kilogram every week, starting with about 10kg overweight (male, 55y). The first week you’ll still feel hunger on those days (just drink water or tea when you do), but after 2 weeks you don’t feel it any more, and the measuable results will make you feel better as well.
