I could excuse myself saying it was actually (quick google here) a Goblin Spider, but nah, I just wanted it to have more than 2 eyes, yet didn’t bother to check. At some point I actually put those chelicerae in its mouth. And here I was patting myself on the back for remembering they have 8 legs.
I don’t think that’s why they rejected it, though! I mean, look at Spider-Man, I got closer to the real thing than THAT!
No wonder you were rejected. Spiders have 8 eyes! [1]
