I take my dogs out for a walk every night. 3 trips with 2 dogs each (2 are fosters waiting to be adopted, the other 4 are rescues that found their forever homes with us). Most of my neighbors have dogs, but I’ve never seen a single one of them get a walk.
Indeed, sadly for many it’s only really obvious how much they need it physically and mentally until you start doing it. It pains me to see other dogs stuck all day in what’s essentially a big cage.
