Somari! I don’t know how well known this NES hacked game is around the world, but it was a thing in Mexico. I remember feeling very upset when I saw it on display because I thought of myself knowledgeable of everything Nintendo (I read Club Nintendo!) and then there was this totally unofficial thing… cobbled together but competent enough to pass for a legit game.

Oh my god, I just spent the last three hours re-reading the archives instead of going to bed, but it was so worth it. I showed this comic to my gamer little brother, and he laughed himself silly. Thanks for the memory!
