Wrote this one back in 2023, posted it on Patreon many weeks ago, and by serendipity it’s its turn to be posted online today, right on my birthday. And I stand by it: the more I keep learning, the more I get to see of the rich threads of causality, of how everyone and everything has been shaped by circumstances. That taking big stands and making grand gestures are less important than the small quiet choices we make every day, because those are the ones that reverberate in lasting and unexpected ways.
